Every child deserves education
Sponsor a Student at St. Francis of Assisi, Give the Gift of Education
In Uganda there are students who are brilliant, motivated, and full of potential, but whose families simply cannot afford secondary school fees.
At St. Francis of Assisi High School – Rwenjaza, we refuse to let poverty decide a child's future. Each year, we award full and partial scholarships to deserving students. But the number of students we can help depends entirely on the generosity of people like you.
By sponsoring a student, you are not just paying school fees, you are investing in a young person's entire future.
Murphy Scholarship Fund
Our scholarship programme began with a single act of generosity. In 2020, Fr. Peter Murphy, a New Zealand Catholic priest, donated the monetary gifts from his priestly silver jubilee to help students in need. That seed grew into the Murphy Scholarship Fund, which has since supported multiple students who would otherwise never have accessed secondary education.

Applying for Scholarship Support: If your child has been offered admission but you’re worried about affording fees, tell us during the application process — indicate this on your admission form or contact the Director directly. Scholarships are awarded based on financial need / academic promise and are reviewed each term. No family should decide not to apply because of cost before talking to us first.
Scholarships are made possible through the generous support of friends of St. Francis of Assisi High School.
